Historic Landscape Consultant
Clair is a historic landscape consultant with over fifteen years’ experience. She has a diverse portfolio having worked as a landscape architect in both the public and private sectors across Ireland. Clair holds a BSc in Landscape Design, a BA in Heritage Studies and an MA in Historic House Studies. She has authored The eighteenth-century landscape of Stradbally Hall, Co Laois (Four Courts Press, 2017) and is currently conducting PhD researchwith Dublin City University focussed on historic landscapes, societies and archives of Ballykilcavan and Stradbally Hall landed estates in County Laois. Clairspecialises in: historic and designed landscape assessment, management and restoration; landscape design; and landscape character and visual impact assessments, having completed a number of such projects with ACP.
