Franciscan Friary - Water Damage

The former Franciscan Church and Friary Building are Protected Structures. During the winter of 2011 significant water damage through out the building was caused by a burst water pipe. ACP were commissioned by the Bonaventure Trust to undertake an inspection of the damage, liaise with their Insurers and organise the necessary repairs including getting the necessary permissions from the Planning Authority and scheduling, tendering and supervising the works undertaken by contract.

The works included repairs to the historic fabric – walls, floors, and ceilings, including decorative finishes. Extensive repairs were also undertaken to the mechanical, electrical and fire engineering services.
