Preparation of Conservation Plans
A Management Plan is a separate document that sets out an implementation strategy for the Conservation Plan by providing a framework for identifying and prioritising the work that is required to conserve the building or place into the future.
ACP has significant experience in the preparation and implementation of Conservation and Management Plans gained both in Ireland and the UK. The best plans are achieved where all the Stakeholders are involved in the process at all stages. This process usually involves:
- Survey and analysis of the historic building, its setting and immediate environs
- Identification of significance
- Formulation of policies and objectives for future conservation and management
- Preparation of a Management Plan and Strategy for implementation
